SUE MITCHELL
 Sue was born and raised in the Garwin, Iowa area on a farm with her parents Carroll and Dorothy (Heintz) Fisher and sister Jeanne. She grew up within a mile or two of many of her relatives’ farms. She graduated from the Garwin High School and later moved to Marshalltown where she worked in child care. Later, she worked alongside her parents in their enterprise, Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Upon their retirement in 1996, she was appointed manager of the business, which she performed until 2004.
Sue passed away on September 6th, 2005. Her passing has left a very noticeable void in the funeral home, but her memory echoes her last request – that we operate this funeral home to the best of our capabilities for the families we serve. We miss Sue terribly, but are grateful for the years we had and the memories we treasure.
