SHANNON BOWERS
Shannon Bowers has lived in Marshall County his entire life. He is the son of Perry and Leanna Bowers and attended grade school in Marshalltown until moving to Gilman during the Middle School, graduating from East Marshall High School in 2000. Shannon furthered his education at Marshalltown Community College. He received his degree in Mortuary Science from DMACC, while working at Mitchell Family Funeral Home and graduated in 2008. He moved to Wyoming, Iowa after graduation to finish his internship with Lahey Funeral Home, returning to Mitchell Family Funeral Home in 2010 as a fully licensed Funeral Director. Shannon is a member of the Iowa Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association and the American Society of Embalmers.
